    The staff promptly helped us when the electricity went off during our stay, resetting it immediately. It was reassuring to have such quick assistance in the One-Bedroom Suite with Balcony.

    Spacious Apartment with Great Amenities!

    We stayed for 2 nights in a One-Bedroom Apartment and loved the spacious layout. The front desk staff was friendly and offered great suggestions for nearby dining. Don't miss trying the fresh seafood restaurants close by. Just a heads up, ask about blackout curtains if you're a light sleeper!

    Great location and spacious, modern, well equipped apartment! Good value for money!

    Lighting systems were a bit of hassle... The ceiling lights in the bathroom are not enough - and putting on make up was a challenge. Had to do this in the kitchen.. Would advice owners to put in more lighting here, as well as a bigger mirror. Could hardly fit your face in it...no sharing! Hard double bed, and springs in the sofabed were hurting in the back. Details that are both easy to fix, though.

    The one-bedroom suite with balcony was very spacious and clean. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the marina. One staff member was super helpful when we had an electrical issue. He fixed it right away. It really made a difference.

    Location was mid center next to the harbour, you can see the harbour, the sea and the mountains from your room window. The apartment was very cosy, warm, nice kitchen with dishwasher. At the basement you have a washing- michine. The supermarket and restaurants were all in walking distance.

    The light were little bit difficult to handle (you will get to use to it)

    Excellent location, close to attractions of harbour and downtown "old" Reykjavik, with all its great restaurants and shops, but just enough out of the buzz to ensure quiet time once inside. Apartment itself very spacious, attractive, warm, well-equipped, comfy bed, great bathroom(shower), we did not see a lot of Ilhan and Lara, the owners, but they provided a very warm welcome, and introduction to both the apartment and Reykjavik, and we were in no doubt that they would have been happy to help with any problem or query, but they provide a lot of info, so we had neither and were happy to come and go independently. This is one of the best holiday rentals we have had, and we would return to Ocean Comfort or recommend without hesitation.

    The location was perfect for exploring the city! We loved being just a short walk away from amazing restaurants and local attractions. Our one-bedroom apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. We had some noise from the street that made it a bit challenging to sleep at times. It was a nice stay and a good base for our Icelandic adventure.

    The modern décor was so stylish it was like home. The spacious layout and ample seating made it easy for me and my friends to relax. Plus, the accessibility features were appreciated.

    The owner was welcoming and extremely helpful. The apartment is extremely well appointed and has everything you could possibly need. Location is brilliant. It really is in the centre of everything you could need and within walking distance of tour companies, restaurants, the harbour and museums. Coffee and tea was available. The bed was very, very comfortable and the shower was wonderful. Tv and dvd player was great with a nice selection of DVDs available at no cost.

    Unfortunately on the nights I was staying there were roadworks directly underneath my bedroom window. On the last night it was actually impossible to sleep due to the noise, a jackhammer I think. While this is totally outside of the proprietors control it may be worth checking if these works are scheduled during your stay. Like other reviewers I struggled with the lighting controls, quite frustrating at times. A blind on the bathroom window would make me feel more at ease. Some paper has been taped over the lower parts of the window but being on the first floor it dd not seem enough. This meant that I left the lights off when using the bathroom at night. These however are little things and should not put you off of staying in these wonderful apartments
